"In The Spotlight!!"

Phil's Gril, a locally owned and operated burger joint in Metairie, Louisiana just celebrated thier one year anniversary. Known for gourmet burgers and cold beer, Phil's was just named 2008 Best Burger by Where Y'at Magazine's readers poll. Owner Phil DeGruy can bask in this huge accomplishment, considering all the great cuisine the City of New Orleans is known for.

During National Burger Month (May) Phil's hosted a Bugerpalooza Celebration. Celebrities such as Deuce McCalister, Eli Manning, Charmine Nevell and local and radio personalities built their favorite burgers to be featured during the month long celebration. Proceeds from the sale of the burgers will benefit the Deuce McCalister's Catch 22 Foundation.
